Launched in April 2015, Relationships Australia Victoria's Good Ships is an initiative to produce books and resources for children to help address the difficulties they commonly face in the context of important relationships.
Proceeds from Good Ships books will be used to support children’s programs run by Relationships Australia Victoria.
Behind Closed Doors is the third book published under our Good Ships initiative.
Behind Closed Doors is a story for children about responding to family violence. Emotive illustrations guide children through lessons about the importance of safety and reaching out for support.
Behind Closed Doors can be used as an educational tool by parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals, to promote ways to talk about family violence and help children reflect on their own experiences.

Cassie the upside down koala is the first in a series of planned books and resources for children under our Good Ships initiative.
While this delightful, beautifully-illustrated story can be read simply for enjoyment, it focuses on themes of difference and belonging. Cassie the upside down koala can be used by parents, teachers, therapists and other professionals as an educational tool to promote acceptance of difference and to help children talk about and reflect on their own experiences.
