connectEDspace - support for young people

Young people can face all sorts of pressures – including problems at school, with friends or at home.
connectEDspace is a website by Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV), dedicated to young people to help provide all the information they need to deal with the stuff they go through each day.

Aboriginal Family and Relationship Support

RAV provides support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and individuals to help strengthen family relationships.

Counselling provides an opportunity to talk with a professionally trained person to discuss couple issues, conflicts with friends, relationship breakdown, parenting, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, grief, sexual problems, childhood sexual abuse, stress and work related tensions and disputes.

Relationship Recharge (Kew)

Do you need to recharge your relationship, or strengthen it for the future? Join us for this one-day, interactive workshop.

Future Positive provides the opportunity for you and your partner to explore how to build on the positives of your relationship, regulate the negatives, and learn about the common challenges that can put pressure on any couple.
You will explore ways of holding onto a shared vision whilst accommodating differences and coping with difficulties.
Couples spend the session working through exercises and activities together with guidance from our experienced facilitators.
A two-hour follow-up session will support you and your partner to consolidate and reflect on the skills learned during the workshop.

In a small group setting, you and your partner will learn:

  • what helps to make relationships last and what puts relationships at risk
  • about your own relationship style
  • skills to manage conflict
  • how to communicate in clear, healthy ways.

The group involves practical exercises and evidence-based theories. You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with the experienced group facilitator on the specific issues or challenges that are affecting you as a couple.

Relationship Recharge is ideal for couples who want:

  • to invest in and strengthen their relationship
  • to understand what makes a strong relationship and how to put this into practice
  • guidance and tips to manage conflict and communicate well
  • some relationship coaching.

If you and your partner are experiencing a few difficulties in your relationship, or if you feel that things are going well but want to strengthen your relationship to make it last, then Relationship Recharge is for you.
