 Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) training

RAV’s FDR professional training is undertaken by Training Ground – a Registered Training Organisation since 2007.

Training Ground provides accredited training in couple counselling, as well as relationship management and FDR for clinicians and other professionals who work in human services. In addition, it also provides clinical supervision and consultancy services.

Training Ground offers the Vocational Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution, a step now required for Australia’s FDR workers.

 Registered Mediator Accreditation Body (RMAB)

RAV welcomes suitably-trained mediators to register under the National Accreditation scheme as an accredited mediator. This will enable you to advertise that you are a "nationally accredited mediator". Applications can be made to the Training Ground.

We regularly provide training courses with the Law Institute of Victoria which can lead to registration after the appropriate assessment, which requires demonstration of specific competency-based performance.

Those who have completed training elsewhere can contact Training Ground to discuss how registration can be achieved.

Specialist Course in Couple Therapy

RAV's Specialist Course in Couple Therapy has strong links with the University of Melbourne and is an accredited component of the:

• Master of Social Work (entry-to-practise)
• Master of Advanced Social Work (Research).
