Telephone Relationship CounsellingIf you are unable to attend one of our centres due to geographical, physical or personal reasons, you can access our Telephone Relationship Counselling service which is provided by the Ballarat Centre for Victoria. At an agreed appointment time, one of our experienced relationship counsellors will be available to speak with you, or with you and your partner. The counsellor will be totally and exclusively available to you during your hour-long appointment. Our counsellors have helped many individuals, couples and families through difficult times and they will be able to offer you support, guidance and advice. At the end of the session, you will be able to book another appointment with the same counsellor, if you wish. Alternatively, you can meet with a counsellor in person if you are able to attend one of our centres. There will be a negotiated fee for telephone relationship counselling time, just as there is with people who come in person for counselling. Fees for counselling are set according to income and are negotiable. Note that this service is offered free of charge to people affected by the drought. See Drought Counselling. The Telephone Counselling Service also provides information and can direct callers to other available services and Relationships Australia Centres. Please note, the service is NOT a crisis line. For callers in immediate need, every effort is made to connect them to the appropriate crisis service. Back to Counselling |
