Moving to a new country is one of the most exciting and important times in a family’s life. However, settlement is a time of great adjustment and can be difficult for new migrants as they face unfamiliar circumstances.

This DVD explains how Australian family roles and values may differ from those experienced by migrant families in the country they have come from. It shows migrants sharing their stories of settling in Australia.

It also highlights the range of services available to support and strengthen families that will help them with the changes and challenges.

The DVD is available and English, Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Dinka, Farsi, Haka Chin, Karen, Nepali and Tamil.
