Multicultural programs

As RAVs largest centre, Kew offers a variety of programs for diverse communities. These include counselling, support groups and parenting advice. The centre’s focus will be to work with multicultural and international students in their local region.

Current programs

Connecting through sport
In partnership with the Melbourne Heart Football Club, a series of workshops and soccer clinics are planned for multicultural and international students. These workshops aim to support students dealing with issues related to their physical/mental health and wellbeing.

Multicultural Father's Day brunch 2011
This years Father’s Day celebration will focus on celebrating the diversity of our dads. Please contact the centre for more information.

Father's Day DadsLink barbecue 2010
In partnership with DadsLink, the 2010 Father’s Day  barbecue/brunch was held on Sunday 5 September. RAV had been supporting DadsLink and this event for a number of years. The centre coordinated a craft stall that offered the children an opportunity to make Father’s Day cards.
